About Us
Girl and Bat

Luke Air Force Base in cooperation with the surrounding cities and associations, forming the Luke West Valley Recreation Committee, strives to ensure that the best recreation activities are provided for the citizens of the west valley.

Our signature program is the Passport Program, which is a guide to the many activities and events throughout the west valley throughout the year.

The committee also sponsors the Annual West Valley Recreation Expo, a one stop shop for sports, special events and various recreational opportunities for the citizens of the west valley.

NOTE: The Luke West Valley Area Recreation Sub-Committee is a subcommittee of the Luke West Valley Mayors’ Council.  The purpose of the committee is to:

  • Collect and disseminate recreational information and opportunities for west valley residents
  • Develop joint sponsorships of recreational activities to promote maximum collaborative efforts, where appropriate
  • Demonstrate regional support for and from Luke AFB through Recreational Partnerships
  • Create and maintain a community master calendar of events to assist member communities in scheduling major activities with minimal conflict.
